We love everything carnations especially since it is the flower associated with mothers. Carnations in the bible, (especially pink) signify the tears of the Virgin Mary as she wept while watching Jesus carrying the cross. The sweet clove scent makes us think of spring. Thought to be conventional, they are misrepresented and in our mind’s eye are the underdog of flowers - which just makes us like them even more.
